The Dark Paradises project consists of a digital proyection of a  palm tree of the Arecaceae family, in the middle of a desolate natural landscape in the area called El Rosario in the Intag Valley, Imbabura, Ecuador. The black and white and the noise in the photograph question the representation of an ideal paradisiacal landscape. Currently the Intag Valley is one of the most important mega-mining projects and concessions in Ecuador.
